AOCA Elects Kyff to Board
The American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists (AOCA) elected MSUCOM ’80 alumnus Jeffrey Kyff of Traverse City, MI to the AOCA Board of Governors at its Annual Convention in Las Vegas.
Kyff earned his undergraduate degree from Antioch College and his Doctor of Osteopathy from the College of Osteopathic Medicine Michigan State University. He completed his residency at Case Western Reserve University and Botsford General Hospital. He earned his initial board certification in 1989, the certificate of special qualifications in critical care medicine in 1993 and was named a fellow of the AOCA in 1991. He served for many years on the committee for postdoctoral training.
Kyff’s practice includes Munson Medical Center and the Northwest Michigan Surgery Center as a partner in Traverse Anesthesia Associates. Although previously focused on critical care medicine, he now cares for patients of all ages in all areas including cardiac.
The American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists promotes the osteopathic concept of disease, aids in providing opportunities for study and training in the art and science of anesthesiology and advances the standards of practice and service in the specialty of anesthesiology.
