Rosick Named FCM Acting Chairperson
Oct 15, 2012 1:00 AMEdward Rosick, D.O., has been named acting chairperson for MSUCOM’s Department of Family and Community Medicine (FCM). A 1993 MSUCOM alumnus, Rosick also has a master’s degree in public health which he received from Loma Linda University in 1997. He has been part of the FCM faculty since 2006.
Last summer, Rosick was the only osteopathic physician to present at the International Conference on Integrated Medicine which was held in Jerusalem, Israel. His presentation on hormone replacement therapy examined the current research comparing bio-identical hormone replacement therapy to replacement therapies which use synthetic hormones. Current research suggests there are significant health concerns associated with synthetic hormones, but not for bio-identical ones.
