Susan Enright named director of clinical clerkship curriculum
Feb 7, 2017 1:00 AMSusan Enright, D.O., FACOI, has joined the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine as director of clinical clerkship curriculum, and will assume her leadership responsibilities on Feb. 20.
She comes to the college from the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where she served in the clinical education programs as community faculty coordinator for MSUCOM’s primary care ambulatory clerkship and core clinical concepts (C3) clerkship programs, traditional internship program director, interim director of medical education/designated institutional officer and as program director of the internal medicine residency.
An MSUCOM alumna, Enright completed an internal medicine residency at Flint Osteopathic Hospital and an emergency medicine residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center (formerly Flint Osteopathic Hospital).
A leader in osteopathic education both locally and nationally, Enright was appointed to the American College of Osteopathic Internists Council on Education and Evaluation in 2005 and currently serves as its chairperson. She also sits on the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine’s internal medicine education advisory board and is chair of the program and trainee review council of the American Osteopathic Association.
She is a member of the Association of Osteopathic Directors and Medical Educators, the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Directors and Medical Educators, the Association of American Medical Colleges, the American Osteopathic Association, the ACOI and the Michigan Osteopathic Association.
Enright resides in Rochester Hills and will work from the Macomb and East Lansing sites.
