Application ProcessApplicants must possess an unlimited (or unrestricted) license to practice as a healthcare professional or be an active participant in a postgraduate training program in a healthcare profession in the United States. Consideration for admission on a regular basis requires a 3.0 grade-point average in the final two years of postsecondary study. Applicants with a grade-point average below 3.0 for the same time period may be considered for admission on a provisional basis.

- Pay $50 application fee

3. Submit three letters of recommendation showcasing your academic ability and commitment to the field of health professions education. Each letter should be sent directly from the author, and should include a recommendation form. One letter should be written by a superior, one by a direct report, and one by a colleague.
4. Submit a current vita or resume.
5. Submit a personal statement describing your interest in this program, professional career goals, and how the two are related. The Graduate School application will ask you to complete a personal statement and an academic statement. You may use the same personal statement for the HPE MA application and the online Graduate School application. Please copy and paste your entire personal statement into the personal statement section of the online Graduate School application form and you may leave the academic statement section blank.
Please Note: The completion of the GRE is not required for admission into this program. We encourage applicants to keep copies of all application materials.
