International Opportunities

While our students and faculty spend a lot of time in community service near home, they are also very involved in service activities around the globe. As an MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine student, you’ll have the chance to build your clinical skills while earning credits under the direction of faculty members and other outstanding physicians and may treat people who have little to no access to regular medical care.

First-year students take part in elective experiences to Guatemala, Mexico, Dominican Republic and South Korea.

Second-year students take part in elective experiences to Peru and Cuba.

Fourth-year students can complete clerkships in Cuba, Peru, and Malawi, as well as other countries on individual clerkship rotations on a case-by-case basis.
