Hospital teaching faculty and current SCS residents may apply for a clinical faculty appointment with Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. A clinical faculty status provides access to all MSU Health Sciences Digital Library resources via a NetID and password. These can be obtained through the following process:

  1. First, the physician must register and complete an application for Clinical Faculty Appointment and submit per the requirements.
  2. To receive your ZPID and NetID you must contact com.clinical.faculty@msu.edu
  3. A 4-digit PIN or PAN (students) is required to activate a new NetID or reset a forgotten NetID password. To retrieve please call: (517-355-4500) with your ZPID and DOB.
  4. Once you have received your ZPID and your PIN number you will need to activate your MSU Net ID.
  5. Activate your MSU Net ID. Visit the Net ID website and fill out the form with your ZPID and PIN to activate your account. Once it is activated you will have access to MSU email and resources.
