Furqan Irfan, Ph.D., MBBS, MBA-candidate

Dr. Furqan B. Irfan is an assistant professor and director of research development at the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has broad ranging experience in research and academic health system development, epidemiology, population and global health, big data analysis, translational public health, health services research, healthcare business and policy. His research work at Michigan State University spans a broad spectrum of diseases including heart diseases, stroke, diabetes/obesity, nutrition and cancer.  Dr Irfan is also the principal investigator for research collaboration with the Veteran Affairs health system – the largest integrated healthcare system in the United States.
