John M. Popovich, Jr., PhD, DPT, ATC was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties in July 2015 after completing a post-doctoral fellowship at the MSU Center for Orthopedic Research. Dr. Popovich is a licensed physical therapist and certified athletic trainer. He earned his clinical and research doctorates from the University of Southern California. Kate serves as the Medicaid Enhanced Reimbursement (MER) program analyst. She works directly with MER-enrolled hospitals and provider groups on data management, invoicing and provider eligibility.She also enjoys assisting the College with student interviews. Colton Prudnick, D.O. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties and a urologic surgeon at MSU Urology. After earning his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Prudnick completed his residency in urological surgery at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI.
Associate Professor
Dr. Chunqi Qian’s major research interest is centered on the development of advanced detection technologies for Magnetic Resonance Imaging and biosensing. The underlying scientific principle is derived from the general concept that weak biological signals can be sensitively observed by a local detector placed at a close enough distance and if the weak signals can be locally amplified to communicate with the external world.
