John came to MSUCOM in August of 2002. He serves as receptionist for the Business Office and member of the finance team. John handles the mailroom, cash receipts, keys, and a myriad of small (but important) functions throughout the College. He also serves as a unit lead for the Emergency Action Team. In this role as Office Manager, he brings his own unique sense of style and passion to the job. “Every day brings something new,” he has said. “I never know what’s going to happen.”

Sarah Kovach serves as Director of Human Resources in the college’s Business Office. Sarah interacts and partners with executive leadership across campus, including MSU’s Central Human Resources, the Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives and Employee Relations. She consults with departments for staffing issues and personnel actions, as well as job description development and the annual raise process. Jessie works primarily in Human Resources and assists the Business Office in several other endeavors. She leads the volunteer clinical faculty appointment process coordinating directly with COM departments and community-based faculty. She assists with faculty and staff hires and workflow management within Dean’s Office units. Jessie’s organizational skills and tenacity make her the leader of most intraoffice projects to improve efficiency, reduce paper and generally spruce up the place.

Aaron serves as Director of Finance and Budgets in the college’s Business Office. He represents the financial interests on behalf of the college and serves as a resource and expert on all financial related business. His responsibilities include directing MSUCOM’s annual college budget and serving as the college’s finance liaison to the Office of Health Sciences, MSU Health Care Inc., and all other entities the college interacts with. Kate serves as the Medicaid Enhanced Reimbursement (MER) program analyst. She works directly with MER-enrolled hospitals and provider groups on data management, invoicing and provider eligibility.She also enjoys assisting the College with student interviews.
