Dr Burghardt went to medical school at UTSOM in Toledo, OH and trained in neurology and epilepsy/neurophysiology at Detroit Medical Center. He is assistant professor at MSU and is director of the neurophysiology fellowship and assistant director of the epilepsy fellowship. His interests are in conversion disorder, critical care EEG monitoring, and computational modeling.

Mary Katherine (MK) is a dedicated mental health professional with a background in neuropsychology, developmental disabilities, and psychotherapy. Her skill sets include psychological assessments, diagnostics, and effective treatment plans. Her mission is to provide a safe, confidential, and empathetic environment where students can feel comfortable exploring thoughts, behaviors, and emotions openly on their journey to personal wellness.

Dr. Butki serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Medical Specialties, Section of Emergency Medicine. He teaches cross-curricular in multiple courses and is the course director for the emergency medicine core and elective rotations. He also serves as the Residency Program Director for the emergency medicine residency at McLaren Oakland and serves as the Lead Program Director for the emergency medicine section of the State Wide Campus System.

Scott A Carlson DO MPH is the current Medical Director and Associate Professor in the MSU-College of Osteopathic Medicine, Department of Physician Assistant medicine. He is a 1982 graduate of MSU-COM and is Board Certified in General Practice. His career spanned thirty-seven years in a private independent practice in Grand Rapids Michigan. In addition to serving patients, he mentored students from MSU-COM as an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine, and he mentored PA

Dr. Carron teaches at the DMC campus and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Hospice/Palliative Medicine and is current medical director for the state of Michigan for Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care. She also currently serves as 2018-2019 president of the American College of Osteopathic Internists.

Ruby Chahal, DPM is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties and serves as a foot and ankle surgeon at MSU Spine and Orthopedic Center. She received her doctorate from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her residency in podiatry from Oakwood Hospital in Wayne, MI.
