Health Colleges Research Services

Health Colleges Research Services, or HCRS, provides pre-award support to the following departments in the College of Osteopathic Medicine, the College of Human Medicine and the College of Nursing:

  • Center for Ethics and Humanities in the Life Sciences
  • Community Researchers in Marquette, Traverse City, Grand Rapids (Mary Free Bed)
  • Department of Medicine
  • Division of Public Health - Flint
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Family Medicine
  • Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Biology
  • Office of Medical Education Research and Development
  • Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine
  • Pediatrics and Human Development
  • Psychiatry (College of Osteopathic Medicine and College of Human Medicine)
  • Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine in Grand Rapids
  • Radiology (College of Osteopathic Medicine and College of Human Medicine)
  • Surgery
  • Translational Neuroscience
  • Overflow as needed for others

For a number of units, HCRS assisted with transitioning post-award administration to new staff members, and are currently on track to submit nearly 700 proposals by the end of October.
