On behalf of the Statewide Campus System, Dr. Deborah Young, director of faculty development at the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, accepted the American Medical Association’s Accelerating Change in Medical Education Initiative Award.

During the college’s September faculty development conference, Kim Lomis, AMA’s vice president of undergraduate medical education innovations, presented the award and took a moment to thank and celebrate the Statewide Campus System for its work and accomplishments within the Accelerating Change in Medical Education Consortium.

The consortium works across the medical education continuum with visionary partners to create bold innovations. These partners focus on transformative resources for learners, educators as well as national events to better train physicians so they meet the needs of patients today and into the future.
