Donald P Bartkowski, D.O., FACOS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties and a pediatric urologist in MSU Urology. He received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, after which he completed general surgery training at the David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB and Sacramento Medical Center, University of California Davis, then completed his urology residency at the Detroit Osteopathic Hospital.

Dr. Jacek Cholewicki is a Walter F. Patenge Professor in spinal biomechanics. He directs the Michigan State University Center for Orthopedic Research (MSUCOR). Crissy Hodges-Chakrani serves as secretary to the chairperson for the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties at Michigan State University. She supports faculty and coordinates appointments and reappointments in the surgical specialties of anesthesiology, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, spine and orthopedics, and urology. Crissy is also the Clinical Faculty Coordinator for our volunteer faculty within the surgical specialties.

Lawrence Mysliwiec, D.O., FAOAO is an Associate Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties and serves as an orthopedic spinal surgeon at the MSU Spine and Orthopedic Center. Shawn serves as the Department Course Assistant in Osteopathic Surgical Specialties. Prior to joining OSS, Shawn worked at MSU Sports Medicine for a total of 11 years as a surgery scheduler, rotation coordinator and front office assistant. She worked closely with student athletes, medical students and residents.
